III. Button Up Hero Kickoff on Nov. 8
A. What has been done:
- School building secured from 6:30 – 8:00PM
- Article submitted to Windham News & Notes
- Kickoff posted on EV webpage
- Request for ad in Rutland Herald
- Communication with contractor, Steve Spatz
- Request made to WCO for table at Harvest Supper (Nov. 10)
- Free materials being mailed form EV to WPD
B. What needs to be done:
- See if we can set up table on Election Day
- Additional publicity (including Facebook, message board & town website)
- Solicit testimonials at Kickoff from energy savers
- Secure projector and screen for Kickoff
- Decide whether to invite neighboring towns (Gratfon, Townshend, others?)
- Determine these assignments at the Kickoff
- Secure and set up tables and chairs
- Register people and hand out free materials
- Give overview and introduce contractor and others
- Take photos
- Update EV webpage
- Other tasks
