Book Discussion with Local Author

Windham Library Book Club Selection

Wednesday, May 7, 2025   3:30PM

Join us as we discuss this book with the author herself, local writer, Clara Goodband.

The Terrabrisian Empire has stood as the greatest empire in all the realms for a thousand years, their power made unquestionable by the Bellators (elite assassins who are part shadow) who are both revered and feared even by their own people. But when a disaster strikes at the heart of the empire, the people must put their faith in the deadliest of all the Bellators.
Keres has always served her empire, bound to it by birth and loyalty forged by years of training. Yet after an attack she must choose who she loves more, her people who scorn her or her fellow assassins. With her empire on the brink of war, she holds an unsteady grasp on her army, and with the emperor’s own house and court rife with lies and deceptions, she must tread carefully if she hopes to save them all.
