Selectboard Hearing on Town Plan
The Selectboard for the town of Windham will hold a public hearing on its updated and revised Town Plan on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 5:00 PM at the Town Office, located at 5976 Windham Hill Road, Windham, VT, 05359. A complete copy of the Town Plan, a summary of the main changes in the plan, and a copy of the Plan are available on the town website: townofwindhamvt.com or click on the link below. Looking for a crew member for the Town of Windham, VT Highway Department, experienced in all summer and winter road duties and maintenance operations–grading, ditching, culvert cleaning & installation, plowing, salting, sanding, etc. CDL required. Must be a team player who works well with others and can take instruction. Operating experience with all highway equipment–grader, loader, backhoe, plow/dump trucks, etc. required. FT, year-round, requiring a flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays, as well as OT. Requires 24/7 availability during the winter months. Warning: The Select Board of the Town of Windham is holding a public hearing to review the Zoning Regulations for the Town of Windham on Monday May 14, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office, 5976 Windham Hill Road. Purpose: It is the intent of these Regulations to implement the Windham Town Plan, provide for orderly community growth, protect agricultural areas, soil, forests, water, natural resources, public health, recreation, historical sites, and to further the purposes established in the Act.
